PSG was founded in 2024 by Jay Joyner, a former Division I Head Basketball Coach with over 20 years of coaching experience and eight years in leadership roles. This firsthand experience shaped PSG's education-first approach to every athlete relationship.

Jay Joyner brings over 20 years of Division I college basketball coaching experience — including 8 years in head coaching roles — to every PSG relationship. Having personally mentored student-athletes from early development through collegiate competition and into professional pathways, Coach Joyner built PSG from firsthand insight into the challenges athletes face athletically, academically, personally, and professionally.
His education-first philosophy is the foundation of everything PSG does — prioritizing preparation over hype and steady development over shortcuts.
At Pinnacle Sports Group, Travis Glover recognizes that every athlete's journey is unique. As Director of Recruiting, his role is to help guide athletes toward the right competitive environments by identifying opportunities that align with their goals, values, and long-term development.
