Built on the belief that sustainable success requires more than talent alone — PSG focuses on strategic guidance, athlete education, and preparation-driven opportunity.
At Pinnacle Sports Group, we are dedicated to advancing basketball talent through elite development, informed guidance, and strategic exposure. Our mission is to equip athletes with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities needed to compete at the highest level, grow professionally, and build meaningful futures beyond the game. Founder Jay Joyner is a FIBA-Licensed Agent, now licensed to represent athletes in professional contract negotiations.

Jay Joyner — Founder, PSGWe help athletes understand their options clearly — no pressure, no shortcuts.
We plan with the full arc of an athlete's journey in mind — not just the next season.
Our relationships extend beyond the placement — PSG stays with athletes through every chapter.
Pinnacle Sports Group was formally founded in 2024 — but the work behind it spans two decades. Jay has spent over 20 years watching talented athletes miss opportunities they deserved, not because they lacked the ability, but because they lacked clarity, structure, or someone in their corner who actually understood how decisions get made on the other side of the table.
PSG is the formalized version of the guidance Jay has always given — now available to more athletes, with more structure, and a team built around the same philosophy.
The organization is new. The experience it's built on is not.
Every relationship at PSG begins with people who have been in the game — not just around it.
Jay Joyner spent over 20 years on Division I sidelines — eight of them as a head coach — signing players, building programs, and learning exactly what separates athletes who get recruited from those who don't. That firsthand experience is the foundation of everything PSG does. Jay is also a FIBA-Licensed Agent, now licensed to represent athletes in professional contract negotiations — a license held individually by Jay. His education-first philosophy prioritizes preparation over hype and steady development over shortcuts.
Travis Glover recognizes that every athlete's journey is unique. As Director of Recruiting, his role is to help guide athletes toward the right competitive environments by identifying opportunities that align with their goals, values, and long-term development. Travis brings a player-first perspective that prioritizes fit over exposure.
PSG operates with a clear, structured approach built around education, preparation, and long-term development.
Before any recommendation, we take time to understand the athlete's goals, situation, and timeline.
We equip athletes and families with the knowledge to make confident, informed decisions — not reactive ones.
Personal brand, professional habits, and strategic positioning — all built before the opportunity arrives.
Curated exposure through strategic showcases, digital presence, and targeted coach outreach.
PSG doesn't disappear after the first placement. We stay invested in every athlete's long-term trajectory.
The sports and NIL space is crowded with platforms promising exposure, deals, or fast results. PSG takes a different path — one rooted in honest information and informed decision-making.
Our founder's 20+ years on the D1 sideline means PSG doesn't guess what coaches want — we know it firsthand. That insider perspective is built into every recommendation we make.
PSG exists to support athletes who value preparation, reputation, and long-term success. We don't pressure athletes into decisions — we help them understand their options with confidence.
